SOUND SETTING - VOX ON / VOX OFF:
Your AC110 Monitor has the sound options of:
- Sound Activated (VOX ON)– This means that your monitor will transmit sounds only when it detects them
To save power, after 10 seconds, the sound transmission will stop if no sound is detected. Once sound is detected transmission will automatically activate.
You do need to ensure that your monitor is on the maximum microphone sensitivity to ensure that it transmits your baby’s sounds.
To test if sound is being detected when music/a radio (not lullaby’s as the decibels do not change as this is soothing music) is being played if the decibels don’t change for 10 seconds the sound will cut off to save power
- Continuous Sound (VOX OFF)- This means that sound monitoring is continually ON, picking up any sounds in the room including white noise and other sounds
CHECK / ADJUST SOUND SENSITIVITY (VOX):
- When the Sound Transmission is ON (VOX ON) press and hold the MENU button then press OK button until VOX ON icon blinks
- Use the UP and DOWN arrows to select desired microphone sensitivity level
- Press the OK button to go to the next setting or press the EXIT button to confirm your choice:
MUTE:
Check that the MUTE function has not accidentally been activated. This is done by pressing the VOLUME button - until L0 is displayed on the Parent Unit display
When MUTE is active the sound icon will flash on the Parent Unit display to indicate this:
Press the volume UP button until sound is restored
