IMPORTANT ADVICE WHEN ADDING AN ADDITIONAL NURSERY UNIT OR ADDITIONAL NURSERY & SENSOR PAD ON THE AC527, AC337, AC327 MODELS:
- When monitoring sound, it is not possible to hear sound from each Nursery Unit connected to the monitor at the same time
- Sound can only be heard from the Nursery Unit highlighted in the info bar on the Parent Unit screen. This can be manually changed as & when required - REFER TO THE MANUAL:
- When using two Sensor Pads with one Monitor, it is recommended that each Sensor Pad is located in a separate room
Should you decide to use the Sensor Pads in the same room (always separate cots) kindly ensure that the cots are approx. 2 metres apart from each other and then carry out the Four Corner Test to be sure that the sensitivity of the pad is not too high
To explain, your Angelcare Movement Monitor when you set this up for the first time is set to level 2, this is suitable for most standard cots. cot beds.
The sensitivity level should only be adjusted if required.
It is important to realise that the higher the sensitivity level the larger the area the pad can detect movement. For example - if the sensitivity level of the pad for twin 1 is too high and the cots are too close together the pad can detect movement from outside of the cot such as twin 2 moving around their cot.
If this is the case the monitor will not alarm if required for twin 1.
For information on the Four Corner Test for your model search for the following in the help centre "How can I check my monitor's sensitivity level is correct for my baby's mattress?". This will show the Four Corner Test and general advice on this query for all models including yours
