No problem, your AC25-1 monitor has the sound options of:
Sound Activated (VOX ON)
This means that it will transmit sounds only when it detects them. To save power, after 10 seconds, the sound transmission will stop if no sound is detected. Once sound is detected transmission will automatically activate.
To test if sound is being detected, when music/a radio is being played (not lullaby’s as the decibels do not change as this is soothing music) if the decibels don’t change for 10 seconds the sound will automatically cut off to save power.
Continuous Sound (VOX OFF)
This means that sound monitoring is continually ON, picking up any sounds in the room including static/white noise
To activate or deactivate either function or check that your chosen function is working see the following:
Enter the Main Menu settings on your display, press the right arrow button to tab to the VOX icon
Press the right arrow button to tab to the VOX SOUND icon
Press the UP or DOWN arrow button to select either of the following:
OFF: Sound is always ON regardless of VOX sound levels (note, as with any video device, this can drain the battery power so we would advise to connect to the power when using this option)
Sound levels1, 2, 3 or 4: select whether you want the sound to come on when the slightest of sound is detected (level 4) or the loudest of sound detected (level 1)
Press the left arrow button and tab to the MAIN MENU / SAVE SETTING ICON and press the middle button to save your referred setting.
A green tick will display for a couple of seconds to confirm that the setting has been saved.
