AC25-1: How the Sensor Pad works

Once the Sensor Pad has been placed under baby's mattress and you have completed the Four Corner Test, the movement function should be ready to use.

The clever Sensor Pad technology can detect your baby’s movements across the whole surface of their standard cot, cot bed, crib mattress:

• If, after 15 seconds baby’s movements are not detected, a single, low beep will sound on the Nursery/Camera Unit only. This is often enough to rouse baby to move slightly.

• If baby's movements are still not detected after a further 5 seconds, the main alarm/series of loud beeps will sound from your Parent Unit & Nursery/Camera Unit - at this time you should urgently check on your baby.

Often, the single rouse beep or main alarm from the monitor will cease on its own as it has roused, made baby move to a better position and the Sensor Pad has detected baby's movements again.
