So, how does Bluetooth work in an Angelcare Baby Monitor?

Well, to begin with, the Angelcare Movement Sensor Pad transmits via Bluetooth at very short intervals when it’s initially pairing with the Nursery Unit. After the Pad is paired, it performs a series of ‘Bluetooth Handshakes’ with the Nursery Unit at really short intervals purely for data syncing. In some ways you could say the connection is ‘always on’ (unless, of course, the Movement Sensor Pad is in pause function) however, in reality, there are small intervals cleverly designed to continue the data syncing and also to create the alert if there’s need for an alarm.
